Melbourne musician Gareth Skinner performs a rare solo
cello concert at the Northcote Social Club on the Sunday afternoon of June the 6th. Committed to
performing a maximum of three or four solo gigs a decade, and promoting his current release, Looking For Vertical, GS will play songs and instrumentals that interdict dangerous human elements through beauty and malevolence. Doors open at 2pm, support is from unconfirmed, door is $15/$12. Help toughen up a world gone soft.
PLAY LOUD!
From Gareth Skinner's The Age EG Editor Jo Roberts' 2009 Top Ten Album 'Looking For Vertical', a Sean Bedlam directed music video, There Is No Light.
In making this video I've listened to the song hundreds of times. I reckon the album's a masterpiece.
